The people who have made their own blogs are eager to get more traffic on their blog or website. People want to know how to get more traffic on blog and website. You can increase your website traffic by using different methods. There are also many ways to get traffic on your website or blog, let’s start with the basics shall we!




  1. Be consistent – A lot of people fail to update their blog regularly which results in people losing interest. If you update your blog every Monday, make sure a new post is up on every Monday or any day of a week which you find easy.
  2. Don’t make mistakes in your grammar and spelling. This is important, because no one wants to read a badly written article. However slang is okay its mean to say things like, “watchu want”, it’s lit, just make sure it’s your style.

For example, in conjunction to E!’s launch of Life of Kylie, you can do a review of Kylie’s Lip Kits or discuss about the new/latest Samsung smart phone. To help you pick a subject, you can use tools like Google Trends to find out what subjects are on demand at the time.

  • Use visuals

The human brain is more attracted to visuals than text. A normal human attention spans only lasts 8 seconds, which is why we prefer using popular visual platforms such as Facebook Timeline, Instagram and Pinterest.

Unless we are really on a mission to research about a certain subject, we would convince ourselves that we have no time to read long articles. Using videos, charts and even memes gets the message across in a shorter time, and gathers more traffic.
